Holly Schroeder
Co-Founder
Corporate Flight Attendant and Chef
Holly Schroeder is a dedicated flight attendant and on-board chef with over 20 years of experience in the aviation industry. With a passion for hospitality, Holly ensures every passenger feels welcomed and comfortable throughout their journey. She creates a warm and inviting atmosphere on board, providing exceptional in-flight service and delighting passengers with delicious, locally sourced meals.
In addition to her commitment to hospitality, Holly prioritizes the safety of every passenger. She is highly trained in emergency procedures and remains vigilant throughout the flight, ensuring a secure and worry-free experience for all.
With her extensive experience, Holly is eager to share her knowledge and inspire others in the field. Whether it's mentoring aspiring flight attendants or delivering top-notch service, Holly is dedicated to uplifting the standards of hospitality and safety in the private aviation industry.
When not flying Holly is a big advocate for self care, practicing Yoga, Pilates, SUP and anything outdoors. Being near water is her happy place! Cooking and hosting for family and friends is a regular occurrence in her home. She loves applying her skills from a recent sabbatical in France at a Culinary and Pastry school. One of her most recent hobbies is stained glass art, in which she has really been keen on learning and creating beautiful objects.
Virginia Hankins

Virginia Hankins is a corporate flight attendant, onboard chef, charismatic host of 41,000 Feet and Thriving as well as one of the Founders of Elevate. Virginia brings a unique perspective to being a corporate flight attendant; blending her creativity and self taught culinary skills, passion for hospitality, with safety always at the forefront.
With over eight years in the aviation industry, Virginia’s favorite motto is “read the room” with each client. In doing so she creates an atmosphere curated to each person that she welcomes onboard. From creating a meal from scratch at 41,000 feet, throwing the perfect inflight celebration, to noticing the minute details that can make a difference in someone's day–Virginia strives to always exceed the expectations of those around her.
Virginia shares her stories, as well as tips, tricks and valuable insights of what she’s learned on the road on her podcast where she invites guests to delve into their stories as well. Her goal is to help others learn from these experiences and empower fellow flight attendants to thrive in their careers to new heights.
In her spare time Virginia loves spending time with her family and friends in any capacity, dabbling in event planning and drinking a good cup of coffee. You can often find her on a walk with her rescue Catahoula, Auggie May, at a local farmers market or finding the best cocktail in town.
About Elevate
While working in the same industry, a small one at that, it was bound for our paths to cross, and through the flight attendant grapevine we quickly became friends. We began to share what we want to accomplish in this whirlwind industry of ours. The mutual admiration of those in our community sparked invigorating discussions among the two of us of how to grow and learn alongside others in our field.
Somewhere in between our flights we bounced an idea of organizing a flight attendant get together. Eventually, about a year and a half worth of brainstorms later, what we had dreamt up became Elevate Retreat.
We have spent hours envisioning and cultivating an experience that not only enhances a flight attendant's skills, but also prioritizes their well-being and health. We want to foster a sense of purpose within our close knit and highly driven community.
Our goal is to bring together our colleagues, share our experiences, and invite others to expand their knowledge. Above all, we strive to develop practices that empower our members to grow in every aspect of their flight attendant career.
